This is a top notch place! Very well ran. Neat & tidy! Lots of fun things to do and at affordable prices which is hard to find nowadays. Great that it has such good lighting so you can enjoy activities well into the evening. Batting cages are fun! They have great hours too. Highly recommend!

Pics: If you are a harvest host member, this is a great location with lots of conveniences nearby & a reasonable rate for no hookups. Lot does require a good bit of leveling. But great opportunity to be close to things!

I have been going to the Benbrook driving range in par 3 course since the mid-1990s. It's a great place to practice and play and bring the entire family for fun. If the kids aren't into golf as much they have batting cages and miniature golf to help occupy their time and have some family fun. Debbie and Terri are leaders in the community I am proud to call them great friends for many many decades. We have something special planned regarding a Guinness World Record coming up and we would like to involve the citizens and businesses of Benbrook to participate along with the Benbrook Chamber of Commerce. I cannot recommend this place enough! We had our son’s 13th birthday party here with about 8 of his friends and they had a blast playing putt-putt golf.

The staff was so friendly, helpful and accommodating. We rented the enclosed pavilion down by the course (thankfully, because it was very windy that day) and it was the perfect place to hang out, eat lunch & cake, open presents, etc…

If you’re looking for a low-key, relaxed, family-friendly, fun & wholesome party place — this is it! We will definitely be coming back!

As a new golfer this course is excellent for beginners! This course is focused on your short game but still has a couple holes where you drive it far. The grass conditions are in good shape and the greens are excellent. For a budget friendly course It's a bang for your buck deal!

I try to love this place, but management just keeps making it harder. It’s a chill and simple course, great for beginner golfers or just folks playing for fun, but there are too many negatives to make it worth it. The course is almost always in horrible condition, range balls are cracked and dead, no grass anywhere, groups of ten+ playing together etc. This past time I went the greens were actually looking better due to rain and they even got new range balls, but when we got to hole one there were SEVEN full groups waiting to begin. They do not have legitimate tee times and there are always a ton of groups sent out at the same time, but this was more than usual. Most of the groups were families with young kids learning to play which is great, but should’ve been broken up into tee times to spread out groups. Again, I do not mind this at all, they just need to be broken up instead of 20 people sitting at hole 1. We waited about 20 minutes and were no where near starting, so we asked if we could go to hole 7, there were ZERO groups on holes 5-9. We then got lectured, excessively, that “this is a golf course not a racetrack so you need to be patient”. If this was a "golf course" there would be tee times that are enforced. Again, this place is almost never in remotely decent condition and is definitely expensive for what it is (you can play 9 at Pecan Valley an actual course for less) so to scream at someone for not wanting to wait 45 minutes to START because of your mismanagement is ridiculous. At the end of the day, let’s be honest this is purely a course for fun, not a legitimate golf course, and there is no reason for employees to have some power trip with people for wanting to play what they paid for and interrupting no one in the process. Like I said, we've been coming here for years and try to enjoy it, but after this it's just one too many bad experiences.

I have gone to this par 3 over 10 times and it’s a great little course. Staff is always friendly and if you go early in the morning or afternoon you can regularly be the only person on the course. I only rated 4 stars because on more than one occasion the greens were almost unputtable because of the amount of sand tracked on by their mower.

This place gets worse and worse every time I go. Went on Saturday and paid for 9 holes, the mention at the front is “we have someone watering, so you may have to skip that hole and come back”. I appreciate that part. 2 of the holes, with the purple flags, were full of water and you couldn’t putt in unless you wanted to contract something from that filthy water. The “greens” were tore to shred and cracked. The “fairways” were straight dirt. The kid that was watering the greens was straight soaking them to the point where the water was standing.

This place is suffering from “loyalty blindness” where their patrons and community will only tell them what they want to hear, rather than the criticism they actually need to be better. They seriously need to analyze their business operating expenses and eliminate some of the under utilized facilities to divest into their cash cows. They need to hire someone who knows about golf course maintenance and revitalize this course. They’ve been in business for 80-90 years and they’re a solid family owned business but they can and should do better.

I really enjoyed my last trip to this course mostly because it wasn't very busy and we could hit a few shots to work on our short game. I never had anyone complain when I took forever to look for my nice new balls but we also paid to play around twice.

It's a no frills course that's cheap and easy to practice on. Tee area was very dry to the point we stopped teeing up and just hit off the grass. To that point, ground was hard enough, we definitely felt it after 9 and we aren't old farts.

That said, nothing really hazardous out there aside from thicker weeds around the fairways. Greens were a bit rough on several holes but useable. Probably the least maintained course I've played, but for the price, no regrets. I'd have given 4 stars if they served beer. 🙂

Even though is made a reservation, it really isn't needed. Locals come out to meet and greet, play scrambles and relax a bit. Worth the 30 minute drive. About a 2 hour total play at a mid to slow pace.
