Kelly is beyond amazing and anyone is so lucky to get to know her and learn from her wealth of experience and wisdom. She took in a donkey from a neglect case and that’s where I found a friend to be a companion to my mini donkey who was lonely for another donkey. I have already learned so much from Kelly including a lifesaving, simple tip — always always soak any pellet you give a donkey! Per my farriers recommendation, I’ve been giving my mini donkey “Farriers Formula” healthy hoof supplement, just a small amount of pellets, and she’s been fine for several years eating that dry while I clean her hooves, I wasn’t told to soak by my farrier. So when I took in my 15+ year old donkey from Kelly I was excited to get him to like me and I gave him this supplement too. Even though Kelly’s thorough paperwork and instructions said to soak all pellets, I just wasn’t thinking about that when it came to this supplement because silly enough I thought of it differently than an alfalfa or Timothy pellet. But to a donkey a pellet is a pellet whether it’s a supplement or a feed. My new donkey loved it so much he gobbled it up and developed “choke”. I called Kelly and she answered right away and was able to diagnose him and give me instructions on what to do until the vet got there. But please - learn from my mistake and Kelly’s wisdom - soak all pellets even a tiny amount of supplement can cause choke! My donkey wound up being ok and we were able to clear it 10 minutes before the vet arrived so thankfully he didn’t need to be sedated for treatment.
Kelly thank you so much for going above and beyond for all of us. You are a treasure and anyone would be so lucky to work with you. Thank you for your amazing guidance and calm during our scary medical emergency.

These guys have been amazing from our very first interaction. We have had to navigate through our hoa and they have helped every step of the way. From picking out our babies, to visitation, to delivery of our little ones. Kelly and Collin are both knowledgeable and so helpful every step of the way. I definitely recommend them for mini donkeys and cows

FLIP is an amazing, reputable company to work with. Kelly has gone above and beyond to educate me and my family and continues to answer my questions and give me her advice months later. We purchased 4 donkeys from FLIP. They are just the sweetest boys and have fit right in to our little farm. There is no doubt that these people really care about their animals and it shows.

We adopted our new angels- Snoop Donk and Martha Stewart in December 2021. They literally are my favorite animals at our house as my children and husband all know how much I love them more than them. ?‍♀️ They have the sweetest demeanor. I thought Snoop being a couple months older than Martha would be “tough” and he is absolutely not. He gives me kisses and both love to cuddle and get brushed. Easy to walk anywhere in their halters and they have made little birthday parties and other events a hit! Kelly does a great job working with her donks from the moment they are born. I hope someday I can have as many of them as Kelly does! ♥️♥️♥️

My husband and I purchased two mini donkeys from Flip, LLC and it was the best decision we've made! We absolutely adore our donkeys, who have certainly made their way into our hearts and our home. The experience was so good that we want to continue adding to our mini farm. And even though it's been a year since our purchase, I can still call or text Kelly for advice or suggestions on what to do. We highly recommend Flip, LLC for your mini livestock purchases.

My family and I are overjoyed with our mini donkey, Walker. He is gentle, affectionate and more patient with the kids than I hoped for. The entire experience welcoming him to our family has been easy and enjoyable: communication with Kelly, delivery and instructions/advice as a new owner...it all went wonderfully and we all smile every day looking at this little guy. Today was his first visit with my farrier and Walker was a perfect gentleman. The farrier told me "that donkey is 1 in 100, you can tell the breeder spent a lot of time with him." We couldn't be happier about Walker and recommend Flip, LLC Idlewild Ranch to anyone. If and when we are ready to add another donkey to our farm this will be the only phone call we make! If you are on the fence about it, buy a mini donkey. Long term they are cheaper than therapy.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐, if I could give 10 stars I would- extremely high quality breeder, cares about the animals first and it's so refreshing to hear a wealth of knowledge behind every question I had. I highly recommend to everyone looking for the best & healthiest mini equine ? thank you for being a genuine trustworthy person as well, it isn't easy to find that anymore

We purchased our two little boys, Tater and Tot, from Kelly and Colin in June 2018. These brothers are clowns, and we are laughing and enjoying them constantly! Mini donks are remarkably easier care than horses….tough little cookies. Colin delivered the boys directly to our barn, which was no short trip. Such a pleasure to work with these two, any questions I have Kelly is quick to answer. Rest assured that you are getting not only superb stock, but loving little pets when doing business with FLIP.
