Nice hotel, rooms comfortable, and simply decorated. Comfortable bed. Quite, just a slight hum of traffic in the distance, may noise is from the many birds, as the hotel backs onto a forest. Breakfast was nice, and the staff were always helpful and friendly. I liked the restaurant balcony area which was perfect for afternoon cake and coffee. The hotel has wheelchair access, and plenty of space for parking your car, it also has charging facilities if you have an electric car.

A clean and open room, very comfortable, not too warm or too noisy. A nice dinner (wonderful steak and beer) served well after 22:00, very appreciated as my flight was late but I found hospitality as well. Outstanding breakfast. Suggested to anyone, for holidays or just passing by.

Stayed here this week on business and it was lovely. I thought at first a little basic but the room was big and extremely clean. The bathroom was lovely. I will be back. The food was amazing and the menu very good and varied. Breakfast was excellent. The staff were very helpful and I was very pleased to stay here.

For those looking for a stopover between Hanover and Hamburg, the hotel Waldesrand is definitely a recommendable option. The section over the restaurant has been modernised recently. Rooms and bathrooms are spacious and modern. Rooms are equipped with a fridge and connected to Wi-Fi. A vast parking extends in front of the hotel. Prices are more than reasonable and include a free breakfast buffet offering sufficient choices. If at the reception the staff shows a fair command of the English language, in the other facilities however, including the dinner room, visitors will have to sustain the conversation exclusively in the German language which unfortunately could cast a shadow over that **** hotel and superior quality restaurant. Not enough to deter us from going back…

We stayed for three nights with daydreams. The room was large, good equipped, as was the bathroom. Breakfast had a good choice. The three course dinner was good, tase and portions, even too much for me. My husband was very satisfied! Service was friendly.

This hotel isn't amazing but it's nice, the rooms are spacious, bedding a little itchy but overall ok. The staff are polite and the restaurant food is above par for a hotel. Delicious. The wifi was very slow and their computer downstairs wasn't working. We were there for 3 days then checked out. The food was so good though that we went back just for that.

I was in the hotel during the Hannover Messe. Clean hotel and restaurant is good. Breakfast is a buffet and slightly different every day. Only bad thing was that I had a room where guests are allowed to smoke. Same goes for the bar. Smoking is allowed. The English of the staff is not up to standards for a hotel in my opinion. The lady at the front desk did not even try.

Great location, close to the Autobahn A2. Clean rooms, friendly staff and great food (not to mention the Herforder Pils). Nice restaurant to enjoy a well cooked meal and relax after a day at work.|A great place to stay when doing business or travelling in this part of Germany.
